About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Science & Analytics professional to join our team as a Lead Data Engineer. This role involves designing data mining architectures, statistical reporting, and analysis methodologies to identify trends in large datasets. The work spans across multiple business domains such as Market Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Scientific Research.

Primary Responsibilities

✔ Architect & Implement Scalable Data Infrastructure on AWS to support AI and Advanced Analytics use cases.
✔ Develop & Optimize Data Pipelines for efficient data processing and integration using AWS services and DataIku.
✔ Formulate Data Governance Standards ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with security policies.
✔ Collaborate with Data Scientists & MLOps Engineers to design, build, and maintain a feature store for AI model development.
✔ Implement Monitoring Systems to track data infrastructure performance and drive improvements.
✔ Manage & Optimize AI CoE Data Accounts, Warehouses, and Tables on AWS.
✔ Build & Maintain Data Connectors to AI systems.
✔ Create Templates & Best Practices for establishing new data connections and formats.
✔ Develop Standards around data storage, access optimization, and data transformations.
✔ Stay Updated with Latest Advancements in data engineering, AWS ecosystem, and emerging techniques.

Experience & Skills Required

???? Experience:
✔ 7+ years in data engineering, specializing in building and maintaining data infrastructure.
✔ Extensive experience with AWS data services – S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena.
✔ Proficiency in Dataiku for data integration, preparation, and pipeline management.
✔ Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
✔ Hands-on experience with big data technologies and ETL processes.
✔ Familiarity with data governance principles & data security best practices in cloud environments.
✔ Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and their data requirements.
✔ Experience in CI/CD practices, DevOps principles, and database design.
✔ Mentorship & leadership experience to guide junior data engineers.
✔ Knowledge of data visualization tools (Preferred).

✔ Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
✔ Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical & non-technical stakeholders.
✔ Ability to work independently & manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

???? Education:
✔ B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech in a relevant field.
✔ AWS & Dataiku Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory).
