Key Responsibilities

As a Java Developer, you will:

Be a core member of an agile development team, driving user story analysis and web application development.
Design and develop responsive web applications using best engineering practices.
Perform hands-on software development, including writing code, unit tests, proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints.
Continuously refactor code and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Develop a deep understanding of system integrations within supported domains.
Manage your time effectively, working independently and collaboratively within a team.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and creative problem-solving.
Work closely with product managers, back-end developers, and other front-end engineers to implement efficient solutions.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and promote best practices in software development.

Required Qualifications

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline OR 3-4 years of equivalent work experience.
2-3 years of experience in Java development, with strong knowledge of Java 7 (minimum) and Java 8 (preferred).
Strong understanding of web fundamentals and HTTP protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and a willingness to learn.
2-3 years of experience developing Java applications in enterprise settings.
Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Dropwizard (preferred).
1-2 years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using tools like:
- Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito
Experience working in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments.
Experience working in Agile or SAFe development environments (preferred).
