Key Responsibilities

???? Infrastructure Implementation

✔ Deploy and configure IaaS (VMs) and PaaS services on Azure & Google Cloud.
✔ Collaborate with architects to translate design specifications into scalable infrastructure solutions.

???? Automation & Scripting

✔ Develop and maintain automation scripts using Cloud SDKs, Terraform, Deployment Manager.
✔ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.

???? Performance Monitoring & Optimization

✔ Set up and maintain monitoring & alerting solutions for cloud infrastructure.
✔ Identify and implement optimization strategies for resource efficiency.

???? Security Implementation

✔ Work with security teams to enforce best security practices for Cloud solutions.
✔ Participate in security assessments & remediation efforts.

???? Support & Collaboration

✔ Work with cross-functional teams (developers, system administrators, architects) to integrate infrastructure components.
✔ Provide technical support and troubleshoot IaaS-related issues.

???? Documentation

✔ Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

???? Asset Management (Desirable)

✔ Work with Global Asset Management teams to define new asset classes, categories, and attributes.
✔ Collaborate on automating creation, maintenance, and audits of asset/configuration management records.

Qualifications & Skills

???? Education & Experience

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
✔ Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, focusing on Azure & Google Cloud.

???? Technical Skills

✔ Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
✔ Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Cloud SDKs).
✔ Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
✔ Knowledge of Cloud networking concepts and security best practices.
✔ Experience with CI/CD pipelines & DevOps practices.
✔ Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes).

✔ Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
✔ Self-motivated, able to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of tasks.
