Your Role and Responsibilities

Cloud Design & Architecture

Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient GCP architectures for enterprise applications.
Develop architecture blueprints and technical specifications for cloud solutions.
Enforce best practices and governance standards for cloud architecture.

Technical Leadership

Lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex GCP-based solutions.
Provide technical mentorship on cloud technologies.
Assist stakeholders in aligning GCP architecture with business goals.

Project Delivery

Manage cloud transformation projects from start to finish, including migration and optimization.
Ensure successful execution of GCP initiatives within scope, timeline, and budget.
Develop proof of concepts (PoCs) to validate technical solutions.

Security & Compliance

Implement best security practices, including data encryption, network security, and IAM policies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Cost Optimization

Balance performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in GCP resource management.
Forecast and monitor cloud budgets to optimize expenses.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the primary point of contact for GCP-related initiatives.
Conduct technical presentations and workshops for internal and external stakeholders.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with the latest GCP trends and technologies.
Identify and implement innovative cloud solutions to enhance performance.

Core GCP Skills

✅ Compute: Kubernetes Engine, App Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions
✅ Storage & Databases: BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Firestore
✅ Networking: VPC, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud CDN, Cloud DNS
✅ Security: Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, IAM Policies

Automation & DevOps

✅ Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, Deployment Manager
✅ CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build
✅ Monitoring & Logging: Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring & Logging

System Architecture

✅ Experience with distributed, scalable, and high-availability systems
✅ Expertise in microservices architecture and Kubernetes orchestration

Data & Analytics

✅ Familiarity with data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub
✅ Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Vertex AI)

Security & Compliance

✅ Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)
✅ Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and secure app design

General Skills

✅ Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash)
✅ Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures
✅ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

What You’ll Bring

✔️ 7+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure development
✔️ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
✔️ Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
✔️ Hands-on experience with Terraform, DevOps principles (CI/CD, Repo, CM Tools)
✔️ Experience with Linux or Windows operating systems
✔️ Ability to explain technical concepts in both technical and non-technical contexts
✔️ Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment
