We are looking for an experienced and dedicated English Teacher (PGT) to join our team and contribute to the development of students' English language and literature skills.
Teach English to students according to the CBSE curriculum.
Plan and deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons in English Language and English Literature.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and resources tailored to the students' needs and the curriculum.
Encourage critical thinking and creativity through literary analysis, debates, group discussions, and writing assignments.
Implement instructional strategies such as lectures, multimedia tools, and project-based learning to enhance students' learning experience.
Develop and conduct assessments (e.g., exams, essays, presentations) to evaluate students' understanding and progress.
Promote a positive and engaging learning environment to encourage active student participation.
Provide one-on-one support for students struggling with language concepts or literary analysis.
Inspire students to engage with literature beyond the syllabus and foster a love for reading and writing.
Motivate students to develop strong written and spoken communication skills.
Organize extracurricular activities such as debates, essay writing, and drama performances to enhance language skills.
Assist students in personal growth, preparing them for examinations, higher studies, and future careers.
Regularly evaluate and grade students' assignments, tests, projects, and presentations.
Provide constructive feedback to help students improve academically and develop their skills.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss students' performance and development.
Ensure all assessments are fair, objective, and aligned with the CBSE guidelines.
Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
Manage students during classroom activities, ensuring engagement and adherence to school rules.
Organize classroom activities, discussions, and group work to promote teamwork and cooperation.
Stay updated with the latest trends in English teaching, CBSE curriculum changes, and educational tools.
Participate in professional development workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance teaching methods and knowledge.
Collaborate with other teachers to share best practices and improve teaching standards.
Post Graduate degree in English from a recognized university/college.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized university/college.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school, preferably in teaching English at the senior secondary level.
Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal).
In-depth knowledge of the CBSE English curriculum.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students to excel in English and develop critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in using educational technology (smartboards, online resources, etc.) and multimedia for effective teaching.
Creative and innovative teaching methods to foster student interest in literature and language.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow teachers, parents, and students.
