About the Role

Our Head of Product and Engineering seeks a dynamic and driven individual to enhance the engineering team’s performance and contribute to our SaaS product development.

This dual-purpose role involves tracking performance metrics, mentoring engineers, and directly contributing to technical projects. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about driving team success in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Performance Analysis & Improvement:

  • Develop and maintain systems to track engineering team performance.

  • Provide data-driven insights to improve team efficiency.

Mentorship & Training:

  • Conduct training sessions and skill development initiatives.

  • Mentor engineers to support their professional growth.

Product Development:

  • Collaborate with the team and contribute directly to technical projects.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify bottlenecks and streamline engineering processes.


Essential Requirements

✔️ Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years in a similar role.

✔️ Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret and act on performance data.

  • Experience with performance tracking and reporting tools.

✔️ Mentorship & Collaboration:

  • Proven experience in mentoring and fostering team development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

✔️ Remote Work Proficiency:

  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.


Preferred Qualifications

✅ Background in performance management or people development.
✅ Experience as a Scrum Master or in software development.
✅ Hands-on knowledge of Jira, CI/CD tools, or similar technologies.
✅ Ability to balance technical and team-oriented responsibilities.


Nice-to-Have Skills

Startup/Scaleup experience.
⭐ Knowledge of shares and share schemes.
⭐ Experience working in a remote-first team.
