About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and innovative AI/ML Engineer to join our Global Risk & Compliance Technology team. In this role, you will build and maintain machine learning models to solve business problems, integrate them into application flows, and ensure robust documentation.

You will work with cutting-edge AI/ML technologies to deliver impactful solutions across multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Learning Development & Deployment

Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models, including Classical ML, Generative AI, LangChain, and NLP.
Integrate AI/ML solutions into batch and real-time applications.
Ensure models align with business goals and compliance requirements.

Software Development & Data Engineering

Develop AI/ML solutions using Python (Java is a plus).
Work with SQL for complex queries and optimize data pipelines.
Utilize Big Data technologies like Hive, Spark (Core, SQL, PySpark), and MapReduce (UNIX knowledge required).
Leverage GitHub and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.

Documentation & Collaboration

Maintain comprehensive documentation (data dictionaries, model documentation, and code documentation).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into applications.
Communicate findings and technical concepts effectively to stakeholders.

AI/ML Governance & Compliance

Navigate AI/ML governance processes in a highly regulated industry.
Ensure adherence to ethical AI principles and compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Technical Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
Proficiency in Python (Java is a plus).
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, software architecture, and frameworks.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hive, Spark, MapReduce).
Knowledge of AI/ML governance in regulated industries is a plus.

Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative AI solutions.
Strong communication skills to collaborate within and outside the team.
Ability to write and maintain clear documentation.
