Role Overview: Data Engineer (Global Risk & Compliance Technology)

This Engineering role is within our Global Risk and Compliance Technology organization and focuses on platform modernization. The selected candidate will work on cutting-edge technology stacks to support business needs while ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Big Data & Compliance Technology Development

Support the Compliance and Operations Risk big data delivery team in India.
Lead and assist in the design, development, and deployment of applications.
Own and manage specific functional areas, including project management and business specifications.
Independently manage and execute assigned projects and tasks.

Required Qualifications

???? Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

???? Experience:

2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
GCP Professional Certification – Data Engineer (preferred).

???? Technical Skills:

Google BigQuery expertise for data warehousing.
Big Data technologies – Spark Core & Hive (preferred).
Hadoop Architecture – experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, HBase.
Familiarity with GCP offerings and experience in building data pipelines on GCP (a plus).
UNIX shell scripting experience (preferred).
Creative problem-solving & innovative mindset.
