???? What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

✅ Big Data Tools & Frameworks:

Select, integrate, and oversee Big Data tools & frameworks across on-premise & cloud architectures.

✅ ETL & Data Processing:

Design & implement ETL processes optimized for performance and efficiency.
Manage and optimize Spark clusters and other Big Data tools.

✅ System Performance & Optimization:

Monitor system performance and implement infrastructure improvements.
Optimize cluster operations for efficiency.

✅ Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

Manage vendor relationships & ensure alignment with project goals.
Coordinate vendor communications with internal stakeholders.

✅ Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure confidential client information is sanitized and secured.
Maintain proper documentation and internal repository compliance.

???? What You’ll Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

???? Educational Background & Experience:

???? Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
???? 7-9 years of experience in Data Engineering across various industries.
???? Consulting experience is a plus.

???? Technical Expertise:

???? Strong knowledge of distributed computing principles.
???? Expertise in Spark clusters and stream-processing systems (e.g., Storm, Spark-Streaming).
???? Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud).
???? Proficiency in Big Data querying tools (Pig, Hive, Impala).
???? Knowledge of NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB).
???? Experience with ETL techniques & frameworks (NiFi, Flume).
???? Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
???? Understanding of Lambda Architecture and its trade-offs.
