We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Center Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data center hardware design, implementation, maintenance, and performance optimization.
???? Hardware Design & Implementation
Design, implement, and maintain scalable data center hardware solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware specs and ensure system compatibility.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, networking devices, and storage hardware.
Monitor and optimize server and network performance for efficiency.
????️ Hardware Maintenance
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on hardware components.
Promptly resolve hardware issues to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with capacity planning teams to assess and plan hardware expansions.
Recommend upgrades and replacements based on system performance.
???? Documentation
Maintain detailed documentation of hardware configurations and maintenance procedures.
Create technical manuals and operational guides for internal teams.
???? Collaboration & Support
Work closely with IT teams for hardware-software integration.
Provide technical assistance to internal stakeholders.
Enforce hardware security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1.5 to 3 years of experience in data center hardware engineering or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of data center architecture—servers, storage, and networking.
Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Certifications like CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA are a plus.
Hands-on experience with hardware monitoring and management tools.
Knowledge of data center cooling systems and power distribution.
Awareness of emerging trends in data center hardware technologies.
