Key Responsibilities

A teacher at iTeach Schools plays multiple roles to ensure students receive a high-quality, holistic education. The responsibilities are structured into three core areas:

I. Teaching Your Subject (60%)

Use existing resources and develop Annual, Unit, and Lesson Plans
Teach one or two subjects (as per expertise) to classes of approximately 30 students
Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor progress
Build a positive school culture with a focus on learning and joy
Collaborate with parents through regular meetings

II. Mentoring Students (20%)

Mentor a group of 15–20 students throughout the year
Foster study habits, high attendance, and academic drive
Guide students in identifying best-fit career paths after Grade X

III. Leading School Projects (20%)

Work with school leadership to lead projects such as Annual Day, Sports Day, Hobby Clubs, etc.
Use these leadership opportunities to strengthen personal and professional skills
Mentor and support new teachers
