About the Role

The Associate Software Developer – Java Full Stack position is part of Boeing's Product Support and Services Mobility and Innovation team in Bangalore, India. This team focuses on creating digitally native mobile and progressive web solutions to digitally transform complex business scenarios, enhancing revenue opportunities and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

Software Solutions Development: Develop software solutions to meet end-user requirements, ensuring integration with the overall system architecture.
Product Roadmaps: Create product roadmaps that align with business strategies.
Cloud and Mobile Solutions: Work on cloud-native mobile and Progressive Web App solutions.
Agile Development: Collaborate within an Agile team, actively participating in design and code reviews, and following best practices for version control and software quality.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities.
Collaboration and Delivery: Work with management and team leads to ensure successful product deliveries.

Basic Qualifications

Experience: 4-7 years in the following areas:
- API design and development using Java / SpringBoot.
- Experience with RESTful Services.
- Proficiency with Angular / ReactJS.
- Experience with Azure services and Database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Working knowledge of Web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience with Agile environments.
- Proficiency in Git configuration management and Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (CS, ECE, Telecom, Info Science) or higher is preferred.
Experience: Familiarity with the Aerospace domain and application hosting on cloud infrastructure (Azure/PCF).
Additional Skills:
- Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
