About the Role

S&P Global is seeking a highly motivated Data Intelligence Engineer to join our Data Intelligence team in India. This role involves processing, analyzing, and providing insights into data relevant to client-facing and internal services. The engineer will work with multiple data sources to consolidate, analyze trends, and offer actionable insights to improve productivity and reduce risk.

Key Focus Areas:

✔ Employ Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles for cloud-native products.
✔ Define & measure availability, risk, and performance metrics for external services.
✔ Operate & optimize database solutions (Database Support Engineering).

Key Responsibilities

???? Data Engineering & Analysis

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines ensuring data integrity and lineage.
Develop data visualizations with a focus on security, self-service, and risk insights.
Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable intelligence.
Correlate multiple data sources to identify system behaviors and recommend improvements.

???? Business & Technical Collaboration

Work with business partners to extract value from data through automation.
Own reporting output processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.

???? Technology & Tools

Programming: Strong Python (or other scripting languages) experience.
Databases: Expertise in SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
Data Visualization: Knowledge of Power BI, deployment of pbix files, and creation of Power BI Apps.
Cloud Services: Experience in AWS & Azure environments.

What We’re Looking For

✔ Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
✔ Experience:

Overall: 2-4 years in Data Intelligence & Development/Support roles.
Data Intelligence: Minimum 2 years.
Development & Support: 1-2 years experience.
✔ Skills:
Strong Python, Power BI, and SQL expertise.
Familiarity with agile methodologies & software development life cycle.
Experience in AWS & Azure cloud services.
