Our Pune-based MMF is a key player in aerospace manufacturing, supporting India’s defense and commercial sectors, while also strengthening global aviation supply chains. With a world-class facility and a strong supplier network, we continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities

Quality Control & Inspection

✔ Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating necessary adjustments to the production supervisor
✔ Approve finished products through final inspections to ensure all specifications are met
✔ Conduct & document inspections, maintaining detailed logs and reports
✔ Monitor & maintain calibration activities for all measuring/testing instruments (in-house & sub-contracting)

Customer & Process Quality Assurance

✔ Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
✔ Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
✔ Track & control rejections, raising alarms for non-conformities (NC) and ensuring Cost of Quality (CoQ) is maintained
✔ Drive supplier recovery processes and maintain a critical supplier scorecard
✔ Own Quality Metrics, including COQ, FPY, DPU, Escaping Defects, Customer Issue Resolution, and On-Time Qualification

Compliance & Process Improvements

✔ Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems
✔ Participate in internal audits, process improvements (Kaizen), and Lean initiatives
✔ Work closely with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) Team for:

Digitization of quality metrics
Deployment of quality modules in MES
Support Lean initiatives (resource optimization, re-layout, automation, etc.)

Leadership & Collaboration

✔ Mentor & train quality inspectors, continuously improving their skill sets
✔ Collaborate with High-Performance Teams (HPTs) to resolve quality escapes, RCA, CAPA, and other issues

The Ideal Candidate

Education & Experience

???? Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering from a reputed institution
???? 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Quality
✔ Willingness to work in shifts to meet organizational goals

Skills & Competencies

✔ Strong communication skills (oral & written) across all levels
✔ Energetic, passionate, and highly motivated
✔ Ability to explain business drivers and organizational objectives to the team
✔ Experience in manufacturing processes (assembly, torqueing, wiring harness assembly, electronic component handling, etc.)
