About the Role: Senior Software Engineer (Aladdin Engineering)

You'll work on Aladdin, our investment operating system, used by thousands of global financial institutions. Aladdin integrates risk analytics, portfolio management, trading, and operations tools into a single platform, empowering users to make data-driven investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop fault-tolerant, high-performance software for Aladdin's multi-asset trading platform.
Define the product roadmap in collaboration with business users and product managers.
Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Follow industry-proven best practices to ensure software quality, including:
- Code reviews
- Unit, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Development operations & production support
Act as a visionary leader, improving team productivity, efficiency, and collaboration.
Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, influencing recruitment, management, and engagement efforts.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using Agile methodologies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

???? Education:

B.E./B.Tech./MCA or a related engineering degree from a reputable university.

???? Experience:

9+ years of experience in software development.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, TypeScript, JavaScript, Microservices, Angular, React.
Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and open-source technology stacks (Spring, Hibernate, Maven, JUnit).
Hands-on experience with:
- Building APIs & microservices using REST, Kafka, gRPC.
- Databases (Relational: SQL, NoSQL: Apache Cassandra).
- Distributed technologies like Kafka, MongoDB, Ignite, Redis.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality software using test-driven development (TDD).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
Experience leading development teams or projects and ensuring technical quality of applications.
Ability to build strong relationships with users, sponsors, and partnering teams.

Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure).
